Quinnessa

Quinnessa
 The Alpha Mare

Quinnessa was my first horse. A miracle if there ever was one! My father, before that, was saying that we were not  getting any more horses, because we had one before, but he took all the fences down. Then, it switched to if we got one for free.
Green broke Mustang Mare, $100.
That was her.
So, we got her. She is the most stubborn horse. Ever. She would not go past a walk when we rode her. However, part of that is that our gorgeous Mustang mare has a mild case of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (heaves), and starts to breath hard if she trots for to long.
I fell off of her on Mother's Day one year. I broke my wrist. (Wonderful Mother's Day gift, right?)
I loved her. I love her still, very much. But to really learn how to ride, and in the discipline I wanted, I would need a different horse.
